Terminal Manager
The Terminal Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Oak Bluff Distribution Center. These operations include receiving, storing, and loading fertilizers for export. The site features dedicated fertilizer storage facilities. The manager ensures the optimal functioning of the site and maintains a safe work environment for their employees.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Terminal Manager responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and controlling all operations at the Oak Bluff location. The Terminal Manager will offer organizational leadership and strategic direction to develop and implement an effective operational plan, while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the team, providing support and mentoring, ensuring succession planning, and training employees;
- Create and monitor key performance indicators for the site (e.g., costs, health/safety, customer service, productivity) to optimize efficiency and maintain punctual performance;
- Oversee the site's budget performance, achieve financial targets, and prepare budgets and forecasts that align with corporate objectives;
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to improve financial results;
- Ensure the proper functioning and sustainability of assets by coordinating maintenance activities with operations;
- Administer maintenance contractor agreements and works;
- Control inventory and quality stored at the site;
- Collaborate closely with the commercial team and supply chain to optimize freight opportunities;
- Maintain constant communication with other terminals and internal and external customers;
- Maintain any licenses and certifications with regulatory authorities;
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards, including relations with neighbors;
- Function as a safety leader and facilitate health and safety as well as workplace improvement committees;
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in administration, operations management, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, job-related training, and professional experience in a related role;
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience, ideally within the terminal or transportation industry;
- Experience in industrial maintenance management is an asset;
- Experience in the fertilizer handling industry is an asset;
- Recognized communication and collaboration skills;
- Knowledge of French is an asset;
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Knowledge of operational efficiency or continuous improvement concepts is an asset.
