Customer Service Representative

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Customer Service Representative for our animal feed supply company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our agriculture location, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Regional Manager, monitors accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit limits;
Reconcile cheque and credit card payments daily. Receives and posts payments to customer accounts – while ensuring 100% accuracy;
Prints Daily Reports as required under Policy and Procedures including the “End of Day Report” and “Payments Listing”;
Maintains confidential office records and files covering daily transactions made at the facility that includes customer invoices, stock transfers, and shipment notices;
Completes administrative correspondence;
Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of animal feed and related products. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks;
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in the storefront, providing information about products, answering questions, and processing sales transactions;
Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
Merchandising: Keep the storefront clean, organized, and well-stocked. Assist in setting up product displays and promotional materials;
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Ensure the warehouse and storefront environments are safe and compliant with regulations;
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service;
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training will be provided if necessary);
Champion Sollio Argriculture culture of care and comply with Sollio Agriculture, industry regulatory, and EH&S standards.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory;
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods;
Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills;
Attitude: Positive, proactive, and willing to learn. Strong work ethic and reliability;
Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed;
Valid driver’s licence.
