Feed Customer Service Specialist
Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, 37.5 hours/week (overtime occasionally)
Work location : 92 Halifax St, Moncton, NB
Work mode: 5 days/week at the office

YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Mill Manager, the Feed Customer Service Specialist serves as a key liaison between customers and feed mill operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely order processing and exceptional customer service. The specialist will address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product knowledge to support both customers and internal teams.
The position requires supporting, participating, and managing the tasks described below:
- Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or internal systems;
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment;
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or delays to customers;
- Provide product information, including feed types, formulations, and delivery schedules;
- Maintain accurate customer records and order histories in ERP or CRM systems;
- Generate and review order reports, invoices, and shipping documents as well as processing claims;
- Assist with customer account management, including credit terms and billing questions.
YOUR ASSETS
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred;
- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or logistics;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with agricultural products, feed formulations, or livestock operations is an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/CRM systems;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
- Office environment within or adjacent to feed mill operations;
- May require occasional visits to production or warehouse areas;
- Standard business hours with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
