Warehouse/Customer Service Employee - On Farm Delivery

Work schedule : Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Customer Service Employee for our animal feed supply company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our warehouse and storefront, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing excellent customer service.
Your role
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of animal feed and related products. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in the storefront, providing information about products, answering questions, and processing sales transactions.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Merchandising: Keep the storefront clean, organized, and well-stocked. Assist in setting up product displays and promotional materials.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Ensure the warehouse and storefront environments are safe and compliant with regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training will be provided if necessary).
- Be 2 times a week minimum on farm delivery with 5 MT truck.
Your assets
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift experience (an asset)
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attitude: Positive, proactive, and willing to learn. Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
